Job Description

As a Data Science Consultant at Recruit, you will play a crucial role in helping clients unlock the value of their data. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts, to develop data-driven strategies, build predictive models, and provide actionable insights. We’re looking for someone with strong analytical skills, experience in statistical modeling, and a passion for solving complex business problems using data.

Responsibility

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and identify data-driven opportunities.
  • Analyze and interpret complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends that inform business strategies.
  • Develop, deploy, and optimize machine learning models to solve specific business challenges.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders based on your analysis and data modeling efforts.
  • Design and execute experiments (A/B testing, hypothesis testing) to improve decision-making processes.
  • Visualize data and results using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, and apply them to client projects.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering insights and recommendations.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or other programming languages used for data analysis and machine learning.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data preprocessing.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong data visualization skills using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with data wrangling, data mining, and working with large datasets.
  • A degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
